Property Tax Search
Sawyer County's Tax and Assessment system (Novus) is available online for the public to search Real Estate and Personal Property information. You will be able to search the tax database for any tax information. You can search by name, address, tax ID, legacy ID, and other choices. We suggest using the tax ID number from the property tax bill or full last name and the first two (or more) letters of the first name. You will want to make sure that all the other fields are empty. Less information can provide the best search results. This site is integrated with the mapping site. There are seven tabs you can click on for information: property, tax records, tax bill, statement, documents, officials and zoning. Please look around and experiment with the different functions such as printing tax statements and receipts or finding contact information for municipal and county officials. If you have any questions, please contact our office.
Tax data from the year 2006 forward is available on-line. Once you have chosen a parcel, you will be able to view all the years for that tax record.
Sawyer County provides the tax assessment data with the understanding that this data is dynamic and in a constant state of maintenance, correction and update. There may be a delay between when a document is recorded with the County and when the tax assessment database reflects this record. The maps and data are for illustration purposes and may not be suitable for site-specific decision making. Information found within should not be used for making financial or other commitments. Although significant care has been exercised to produce maps that satisfy mapping accuracy standards, these maps are only as accurate as the source data from which they were complied. These maps are intended to be advisory and are not designed or intended to be used as a substitute for an accurate field survey, as performed by a Registered Land Surveyor, to determine precise property location.
In no event shall Sawyer County become liable to users of these maps, or any other party, for any loss or direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to time, money, or goodwill, arising from the use or modification of the maps.
