Agent Report – Trinke McNurlin, Family Living Agent
Bruce Paulsen asks McNurlin the 3 most important things that she does. McNurlin states that building relationships/establishing key stakeholders; working one on one with individuals in households or classrooms; and identifying goals long term. Example: to target youth between 16 and 25 as they are in critical stage of life choices – prepare them so that they can be contributing citizens. The goal must then be narrowed to improve quality of life for everyone or disadvantaged? McNurlin has chosen to target disadvantaged. Education is the foundation of what Extension does.
Dean Pearson requests job descriptions so that members can further understand Extension. More specifically, what is accomplished with their time.
