Chairperson Bassett called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.
Approval of Agenda
Moved by Paulsen, seconded by Bassett to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried.
Election of Vice Chair
Bassett nominates Bruce Paulsen for Vice Chair. Nominations closed. Motion to cast unanimous vote for Paulsen, Thompson seconded. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes
Moved by Bassett, seconded by Thompson to approve minutes from the May 7, 2010 meeting. Motion carried.
Audience Recognition
Linda Zillmer spoke on the Alcohol Awareness occurring in Sawyer County, as well as what other counties are doing.
Sawyer County Ag. Fair Association
Ron Kubarek updated the committee on the preparation of the Fair – handbooks are ready, lineup is set. New this year is an ATV stunt group. Bassett acknowledges and thanks Ron Kubarek and all the volunteers for all their efforts.
Land Stewardship Conference
Update on Land Stewardship conference from Dave Berard through Lori Laberee. No opportunity remains this year, but planning for next year starts this winter. Laberee will follow up with Dale Olson regarding a recommendation for the committee to pursue or not.
4-H Leaders Association Liability Insurance
Laberee explains that the Sawyer County 4-H Leaders purchase annual accident insurance but needs committee approval to add a special endorsement to the county policy at no cost. Motion by Bassett to move this issue on to the appropriate committee, seconded by Gunderson. Motion carried.
Approval of Vouchers
Moved by Thompson, seconded by Bassett to approve vouchers. Motion carried.
Approval of Out-of-County Travel
Moved by Bassett, seconded by Thompson to approve out-of-county travel. Motion carried.
Any Other Business
Kevin Schoessow, Tri-County Ag Agent, briefly introduced himself and explained his and Otto Wiegand’s role in Sawyer County.

Moved by Paulsen, seconded by Bassett to adjourn. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 9:01 a.m.
