The meeting was called to order at 9:30 a.m. by Chair Pearson.  Motion by Paulsen, second by Gundersen to approve agenda.  Motion carried. 

Motion by Bassett, second by Paulsen to approve the minutes of the November 2, 2010 meeting.

Event Dates

1) Seeley Ski Club - Seeley Hills Classic, 1/15/11; 2) Hayward Lions Club Pre-Birkie - 2/12/11; 3) Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival - 9/16-19/11.  Motion by Paulsen, second by Bassett to approve all requests pending insurance certification.  Motion carried.

2011 Annual Integrated Planning Meeting/Sawyer County Forest Annual Work Plan

Peterson passed out information packet (on file with minutes).  Discussion followed.  Motion by Bassett, second by Thompson to approve 2011 Annual Work Plan and send to County Board with recommendation for approval.  Motion carried.

Sawyer County Forestry Report

Peterson passed out written report (on file with minutes) and explained each area - needs to add NoRTAC.  Recreational camps will be on agenda for January 2011 meeting.  Peterson requested out-of-county travel to attend meeting in Stevens Point on December 13, 2010.  Motion by Gundersen, second by Bassett to approve out-of-county travel.  Motion carried.

DNR forestry report

Koltz:  1) Haasl property exchange/withdrawal - paperwork is going through Madison, should be back soon.  2)  Announced that this is his last meeting, he has taken a job transfer to Rock County.  Pete Wisdom will be filling in as Liaison Forester until position is filled.

Monthly expense vouchers

Motion by Bassett, second by Paulsen to approve the vouchers as presented.  Motion carried.

Other matters for discussion only

1) Monthly report passed out.  

Closed Session

Motion by Bassett, second by Paulsen to go into Closed Session at 10:20 AM as authorized by Wis. Stats. 19.85(1) (c) for the purpose of employee performance evaluation.  Motion carried.

Motion by Paulsen, second by Bassett to return to Open Session at 10:25 AM.  Motion carried.

Adjourn

Motion by Bassett, second by Thompson to adjourn at 10:25 AM.  Motion carried.
