NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

STATE OF WISCONSIN

SAWYER COUNTY

 

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to all persons that a PUBLIC HEARING will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 7:00 PM in the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main, Hayward Wisconsin before the Sawyer County Board of Appeals relative to the following proposals:

 

PRELIMINARY MATTERS

 

1)         Call to Order and Roll Call

APPEAL OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATORS DECISION

 

Appellant Quin Feuerstein appeals the decision made by the Zoning Administrator to deny a Certified Survey Map conducted by Hearth of the North Surveying of Hayward Inc. regarding an interpretation of a rear lot line and the setback distance required. The appellants opinion is that the rear lot line of lot #4 on the survey map is a side lot line and not a rear lot line. Appellant is requesting a different interpretation by the Board of Appeals.  Said lot lies within Section 35, T41N, R8W, being part of Lot 1 CSM #2435.

 

 

VARIANCE APPLICATION

 

1)         Town of Hayward – Robert L. Brueggeman et ux.  The W 1/2 of Lot 6, Round Lake Park Subdivision. S23, T41N, R 8W; Parcel -4.6.2.  WD Volume 519 Records page 421.  0.77 acres. Property is zoned Residential/Recreational One. Application is for the construction of a 30’ x 34’ addition with loft storage area, onto an existing non-conforming detached garage that is located 31’6” to the centerline of Peninsula Road (a Town Road). The proposed addition will be located 31’ to the centerline of the road and will replace an existing 15’ x 21’ garage located 29’ from the centerline of the road. Variance is requested as Section 4.21, Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance, would require that the addition be located at least 63’ from the centerline of the road and Section 10.2 would require that the  construction cost of the proposed addition not exceed 50% of the current estimated fair market value of the existing garage.
