Novus Land Records Management System
Sawyer County’s Tax and Assessment system (Novus) is available online to the public.
The web site is http://tas.sawyercountygov.org. No logon ID is required.

Click either "Real Estate" (most common) or "Personal Property" (for owners of trailer homes, for example). You can search by attributes such as last name, road, site address, Tax ID, or Legacy PIN. Leave the cursor in the field that you use to search. For example, if you are searching for parcels whose owner last name is Smith, type "smith" and hit Enter. Don’t move the cursor out of the lastname field. Use the least amount of information to broaden your search. Don’t try to put in last name and road. The chances are something will not match exactly and you won’t get any results. Try the information you are sure of first. If you get too many records, you can enter more search terms to narrow it down. "Road" is only the road name, not the whole address. When entering road names, do not include suffixes like "Rd", "Drive", "Street", etc. If your address is 123 Riverside Rd, just search for RIVERSIDE. Novus displays detail for the first property matching your search criteria.
To search for another property, clear (backspace or delete) all of the information from the search fields and enter your new information. When your research is complete, click Logout and close the web page.
