Sawyer County utilizes a computerized indexing and high speed scanning system to process documents. We are constantly backscanning our paper records and have over 35 years of real estate records online. We have all our certified survey maps and plats scanned and are available via the web or may be viewed on the four public terminals in our office.

PLEASE NOTE: Before submitting documents for recording which will create a condominium, or which will in any way divide a parcel, either in the form of a certified survey or deed, please contact the Sawyer County Zoning Office. This may prevent recording of a document which may result in a non-conforming Condominium or land division. The Register of Deeds office DOES NOT review legal descriptions or condominium plats to determine conformance with those regulations. Please contact the Sawyer County Zoning Office with questions regarding those regulations.
