On May 20, 1999,  we implemented a computerized document imagining and tracking system. Documents are scanned and stored on optical discs.  We are in the process of back-scanning and indexing our paper documents. All Certified Survey Maps, Condo Plats & Subdivision Maps are imaged.  Our vital record requests and requests for copies of documents are processed the same day that we receive them.

PLEASE NOTE:  Before submitting documents for recording which will create a condominium, or which will in any way divide a parcel, either in the form of a certified survey or deed, please contact the Sawyer County Zoning Office.  This may prevent recording of a document which may result in a non-conforming Condominium or land division.  The Register of Deeds office DOES NOT review legal descriptions or condominium plats to determine conformance with those regulations.  Again please contact the Sawyer County Zoning Office with questions regarding those regulations.
