Sawyer County Public Health provides and promotes the following services in Sawyer County and on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation: Health Promotion, Disease Prevention, Reproductive Health, Women's Health, Prenatal/Postpartum and Special Needs Visits, Immunization, WIC, Environmental Health, Communicable Disease Control, Oral Health, Public Health Preparedness Response.


Did you know that Wisconsin health departments are required to conduct community education on 11 identified health priorities? To accomplish this, every month Sawyer County Public Health sends out a new health priority message into the community. We do radio announcements and talk shows, a newspaper article and newsletter features, posters, and now we’re happy to add our Health Priority of the Month message on this web site.
